I found myself staring into the eyes of an angel tonight
The glare brought hope and made the future seem bright
The affection brought out something hidden for years
It was the reflection of a man who lost all his fears
My fears, however, were replaced with a single thought
If tears were to ever flow from the eyes you have got
If the brightness faded and your smile turned to frown
Light would be jaded and this whole world would drown
